Valley of Flowers Trekking Tour
About Valley of Flower :
The Valley of Flowers is a stunning grazing land located at an elevation of about eleven thousand feet. It is the valley of the branch Pushpavati, a stream of Alaknanda. Frank Smythe exposed 'The Valley of Flowers' in 1931 on his way back after a victorious expedition to Mt. Kamet. Ferns, dwarf iris, dwarf larkspur, dwarf rhododendrons, primula, blue poppies, fritillaria, asters, potentillas, inula grandifloras and hundreds of other species grow wild in the valley.
Valley is a natural agricultural estate surrounded by the amazing snow clad Himalayas, a banquet for the botanist and proletarian alike.

Valley of Flowers Trekking Tour
Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
Upon arrival at Delhi transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day02: Delhi - Haridwar (205 kms/5-6 hrs).
In the morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar from Delhi. Lunch will be in rooted. Upon arrival in Haridwar check into the pre booked hotel. In the evening free for visit Haridwar local area.
Back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day03: Haridwar - Joshimath (245 kms/8-9 hrs)
After an early breakfast drive to Joshimath from Haridwar. On the way a small visit of Devprayag where Bhagirathi and Alakananda rivers meet. From Devprayag the holy river Ganges started. Upon arrival at Joshimath by evening, check into the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay.
Day04: Joshimath - Govindghat (22 kms/1 hrs) - Ghangaria (14 kms/3-4 hrs)
After an early breakfast drive to Govindghat. Govindghat is the starting point of the trek of valley of flower. From here 3 to 4 hour trek to reached Gangaria. Upon arrival at Ghangria check into hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 05 : Ghangaria - Valley Of Flowers - Ghangria (5 kms one side/4-5 hrs)
After breakfast you will start trek to Valley Of Flowers from Ghangaria. Vally of flower is situated in 3858 mtrs elevation from sea level. The valley is an captivating sight with an extraordinary collection of unusual wildflowers akin to Geranium, Marsh marigold, Prinula, Potentilla, Geum, Asters, Lilium, Ranunculus and numerous others. Most of the flowers have medical values too. The valley of flower is 10 kms long, 2 kms wide, and is divided by the Pushpawati watercourse, into which several tiny streams and waterfalls merge. After enjoying the loveliness of valley trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06 : Hemkund-Ghanghria
After breakfast trek to Hemkund Sahib from Ghangaria. Hemkund is situated in 4329mtrs elevation from the sea level. This is fairly a vertical climb. In the Sikh holy book, The Granth Sahib, the Sikh Guru Gobind Singh recount that in a earlier life, he meditate on the coast of a lake encircled by seven snowcapped mountains now known by Hemkund. Late afternoon trek back to Ghangaria. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 07 :Ghangaria - Govind Ghat – Joshimath
After breakfast we will trek down to reach Govind Ghat and from here drive to Joshimath. Upon arrival at Joshimath check into the hotel. Rest of the day is free to explore the area. One can also visit Auli in the evening. Auli is the nearest hill station from the Joshimath. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Joshimath – Haridwar
Early morning drive to Haridwar with packed breakfast. Because Haridwar is 245kms from the Joshimath and it’s a loger journey of hill area. On the way visit Rudraprayag where river Mandakini and Alaknanda meet. It is a holy place and you can take small tour of that place. Lunch will be enrooted. Arrive Haridwar by evening. Check into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 09: Haridwar – Delhi
After an early breakfast in the morning your can visit the Har ki peri. After lunch drive to Delhi airport.
