Himalaya is a religious centre, it’s a Holiday home and group of famous hill station, Himalayan hills are an ideal combination of all these. It is a sure retreat for those who need their soul soothed and their hearts warmed. Each and every hill stations is unique and has a dissimilar story to tell. With the combination of its pure and fresh air, rocking hills, puzzled rivers and glistening mountain peaks Himalayan hill stations is very much demanding for a nature lover.
Gulmarg and Sonamarg:
The site of Gulmarg is 64 km from Srinagar and Sonamarg is 84 km from Srinagar in J&K. The main appeal here is trekking and river rafting skewing. Gulmarg is one of the best and more demanding hill stations in India. It is famous world wide for its highest natural green golf course and ski resort in winter season.
Srinagar:

Dharamsala:
Dharamsala is 185 km from Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. It is known world wide for its charming beauty. Dense pine trees and deodar forests encircle it.
Mussoorie:
Mussoorie was known as the Honeymoon capital of India with its air of frivolity, love and romance. The hill station can be visited anytime of the season, but for those who want to stay away from the cold waves, April till June and September till November. Tourists need to wear light woolen clothing, especially at night, and heavy woolens are needed in winters. While in Mussoorie, one can hire government rest houses or hotels.
Nainital:
Nainital is one of the magnificent hill stations in Uttaranchal. It is 336 kms from Delhi. Which was discovered by Lord Barron, a Britisher in 1841. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides.The first one is Naina (2615 meters) the second is Deopatha (2438 meters) and the third is Ayarpatha (2278 meters). Naina is the highest mountain among the three.
Kausani:
Kausani is a charming and magnificence hill station located just 53 km from the north of Almora, in the Uttranchal. It is located at 6075 feet or 1890 mts above the sea level. From Kausani we can analysis 250 kms about the Himalayan Mountain. This area is full of bottomless and dark pine forest. Kausani is pretty often comparing to Switzerland. It is also known as the gemstone of the Himalayas.
Chaukori Hill Station Uttaranchal:
Chaukori is a sluggish modest village; which is an attraction for the tourists for its tranquillity and rustic aroma. This is a sleepy, quiet village, unchanged by swelling, free from the authority of tourism. Chaukori is placed in Pithoragarh district of the Kumaon Hills of Uttaranchal, is in the strength of the Himalayas. The munificent peaks of Nanda Devi, Nanda Kot and the famous five of Panchuli are a consistent survival.
